PYA-VIA reflection 2014

East View NPCC Unit VIA Day

On 12 July 2014, Our unit went to Kembangan-Chai Chee Residental area. Together with Tampines NPC, we went there to spread awareness on line scams to the public. We created several game stalls for the residents as well. 

Our popular game stalls got the residents excited as they tried to win the games to win prizes.

One of the reflections from the cadets:

"We educated the public and allow them to be wary of such scams that can happen to anyone and anywhere and anytime. We have gained more confidence and able to talk to the public. We learnt that how to work together as a team and overcome all the obstacles we faced doing this project. We also learnt how to use our leadership skills through guiding our juniors at the booth.

The cadets were happy to work with the police officers in spreading the crime prevention messages.

- Full-Uniform must be in good conditions. (Boots polished, badges pinned correctly, excess threads must be removed, beret seasoned properly)

NPCC WEEKLY TRAINING (3.00 PM TO 6.00PM)

-FALL IN BY 3.00PM SHARP
-BRING 1.5 LITRE WATER BOTTLE
-THOSE WHO HAVE SPECTACLES WEAR THE SPECTACLES HOOKS OR BANDS.

Promotion test for Secondary 2 and 3.

To all Sec 2s and 3s, there will be a promotion test on Tuesday the 12th of March. There are intensive training on the 6th, 7th and 8th of March. Please attend all the training to polish up your drills. The attire for the training are Half-Uniform, and the Promotion test is Full-Uniform. Please remember to bring your 1.5L of water.
